“Dragon Shrill in the Cosmic Void” by Yang Yuyu Yang Yuyu has studied at the Architecture Department at the Tokyo University of the Arts, The Art Department at the Peking Fu Jen Catholic University and the Department of Fine Arts at National Taiwan Normal University. His work“Dragon Shrill in the Cosmic Void” uses changing, flowing and soft band-shaped lines to subvert the preconception that metal materials are solid and hard. The work also has a rising, diving, roaring and majestic feel. Yang uses the bright and mirror-like characteristic of stainless steel and soft, curving shapes to incorporate the natural beauty of the surrounding trees and grassy fields into the work, giving the work colors and scenery that are infinitely changing.
