The central figure of this series is the horse, which also is the main feature in many of the artist's previous works. This giant piece of printmaking consists of hundreds of prints of flags from all nations displaying on perpendicular walls. Images of planets that surround the piece form an image of a horse. The relationship between the horse and the map echoes that of the flags and the United States. The flags symbolize all races of the world, while the stripes and the planets may serve as a metaphor of prosperity. This piece employs a combination of printmaking techniques including viscosity, offset printing, monotype and manual coloring to enrich the appearance of the work. PU Tien-Sheng (1912 - 1996)
