Drawings are among the major works that I created over the last few years in Spain, because I had hoped to tell stories of Spanish men and women from an outsider’s view. What’s interesting about this series is that they can be appreciated individually or in random pairs, as if watching montage scenes from a movie. I am familiar with all of the protagonists in the drawings; they are my friends, models, owner of a coffee shop, etc. Today, I often go back to the drawings to recall my memories of Spain.
