The image of the girl represents the feminine side of myself that I seek to explore. I express my thoughts to the world by arming up the anonymous girl and hiding myself behind her. With the girl playing with power and toughness, I express mockery and helplessness to the unfortunate reality that we live in today. In the deep snow that the red-hair girl is stuck in, the petals that fill the white-colored background symbolize the passing of time. As the girl raises her right hand, apparently trying to tear off the fabric that covers her mouth, an atmosphere of motionlessness erupts, as if the girl was afraid of losing her protection mask. In the gap between the cold background and the girl's self-contradictory behavior, there is yet more inner monologue that shows one's curiosity as well as anxiety over the uncertain future. Suddenly, the accessories to the invasive weaponry are replaced by objects that look like headphones which allow the girl to depart from the world of internal monologue and start communicating with others.(Chiu, Chih-Wei)
