I have installed a platform for observing scenery in the exhibition space. There is a color photograph which I call “Traces” and it acts as a document displayed on this viewing platform. This photograph is composed of three sections. The first section is a photograph of the actual exhibition space, the second section, a large poster that was pieced together on a computer, and the third a photograph of myself. The place where the viewing platform is installed is also the scenery in the photograph. The image and the display area have a corresponding relationship, and the large poster hanging in the photograph is composed on a computer. In real life, a real poster never appeared at the actual scene. In everyday-life experiences, are the things people see real? I hope that by creating this little apparently-real-but-not-real trick, I can create a dialectic between reality and non-reality. Furthermore, I have placed a fake
