Under the cultural colonization of Japanese subculture, these virtual images are deeply rooted in Taiwanese minds, showing a strong colonial cultural influence. These various characters and culture are vivid key words for the contemporary time. The presentation by visual arts introduces cartoon/manga and their regions into contemporary presentation issues. They are situated in the conflict between reality and fabrication but can exist together in harmony.
The work uses well-known female cartoon characters and the epitome of Taiwanese local culture as topics: the flowery cloth is a distinct sign of Japanese cartoon/manga culture. The work also uses the female savior image to intensify the topics.
