I delve into all possibilities in art. I made this series that may look like realistic work at a glance, but my goal is really not to show realistic images. I want to explore the boundary between the void and the solid. I applied layers of paint. Amidst these layers, there emerges a landscape with deep depths of field seen in Chinese ink painting. I want to know how vast and open a painting space can be. This then has to do with the subject of completion: based on what standards is a painting considered complete? The paint that I left on purpose on the canvas margins symbolizes the creative process and the passing of time. This is because I not only want to study the essence of painting but also the more abstract topics, such as time. For me, there are no such things as abstract or realistic painting. An abstract landscape can still manifest real-life experiences in the most realistic way
