Two characters are in the middle of a conversation in Dialogue Practice. Although we can’t discern what they talk about simply by the “…” dialogue clouds, we can still make guesses according to their body language. The character on the left (A) seems to accuse the one on the right (B) of something, while B tries to defend for himself. This reminds me of a fact that, whenever I am in a foreign country, I can still communicate with the locals even though I don’t speak their language. Using hand gestures and facial expressions, I can exchange ideas with them. For me, artistic creation is another way to express myself. For me, art is one’s language and way of expression. Hence, as dialogue clouds keep popping up and the characters try to express themselves with vivid facial expressions in this artwork, they carry out a dialogue practice of their own.
