This series explores the idea of control which takes place in our daily life. We seem to be trying to control something single day, while at the same time we often feel controlled by some unseen forces such as family ties, romantic relationships or other areas of human interaction without being able to put fingers on them. This series is inspired by this great sense of helplessness. It explores the possibilities which can be performed using Eastern art mediums of ink painting as well as kinetic devices, as I try to create the effects of the GRIN lenticular lens by stimulating the photoreceptors on our retina using the mix of the ink, paper and kinetic devices. （Chang Yu-chia）
