the work cuts, juxtaposes and piles up words, making them new images. The original words become fragmental; they seem recognizable but then unrecognizable. Viewers participate in the work by watching and operating it: uncertainty arises when images are recognized and interpreted. The image itself is in an ambiguous “in between” condition; when the manipulator pushes the fences, the viewer can see the image through the fences. Through the frame of the fences, words are shown on the fragmental image. The whole process provides a surprise for viewers and at the same time a chance for them to retrospect and think.
