I have worked on the Dream of Birth, Creation of Life series since 2006. I observed how a baby was born, from an embryo in its mother’s womb to becoming an individual after birth. I feel life is a fragile being, a miracle, and a mystery. I think this strongly echoes what lies deep within mankind’s sub-consciousness, too, and want to present them together in this series. To more vividly express my ideas, I make a video of the protagonist soaking up in milk and then added marble patterns when post-producing the film on the computer, so as to symbolize pure motherly love. I would like to invite viewers to feel their deep sweet dreams and watch them sleep peacefully as they bask in love.
