In the work UFO, the dot-like gold leaf scatters on the thick ink diffusion, bringing some strange atmosphere to the dark night. The lonely highway seen from a pilot’s perspective is another bold experiment of the artist to express a new visual experience through ink-wash practice. The artist particularly abandons a linear way of writing and arranges the ink-dots in order to create characters instead. The technological computer-like visual image is combined with science fiction subjects, echoing the artist’s emphasis on the artistic vocabulary of contemporary painting.
