Sounds of Silence II I want to present abstract and realistic images at once. I start with a full human figure and end with an abstract hole. I use the cinematic zooming technique to guide my audience members through the picture. As the invisible “camera”gradually zooms in, the viewers shall find themselvesfocusing on a single button of a person’s clothes in the end. In fact, the button may not look like a button but a hole. One can’t help but wonder, is it an empty hole or is there anything in it? With this artwork, I want to show that everyone has a place in this world even when they are not valued (heard) by others.
