I believe that great art begins with primal chaos. When I paint, I like to break clear images into blurry bits. Painting for me is a way to communicate with others and express ideas. Whenever I see interesting or inspiring things, or when I find something unique in this collective social system, I’d add them to my work by turning them into artistic words (signs). I know that they can form exciting phrases or sentences when they react with the other elements. Dreamcatcher is a protective talisman invented by the Sioux people in North America. It is based on a willow hoop, on which is woven a loose net or web. The Ojibwe people also believe that a dreamcatcher can catch good dreams for its master and keeps bad dreams away or repress devils in those nightmares. In this painting, there is a flowing dreamcatcher and a strange human figure on a winter land.
