As far as I am concerned, the representation is not a retrospectively act, but dramatization of events. While the message appears to be precise and clear, it is nonetheless unreadable. I would call this “irrationality of the interface,” meaning that what we see on the surface is merely a spectacle which has no direct relevance to functionality. This piece explores the moral panic incited by mass media. I try to highlight that what causes widespread public panic is not the event itself, but the media representation of the event. As a result, the event itself is displaced by the representation of it in the process of signification, which is (pseudo) rational in nature.（Hsu Che-yu）
