When nothing can move forward, you can only wait. In this era of exploding imagery we are naturally influenced by the images that confront us, and this may even alter the form of our lives. We can't help but wonder what these images can actually tell us. They present a reality far beyond the real world, an entire world constructed on a screen, and seem to want to tell the viewer: this is already a fact, have a look and don't doubt it. In light of the misgivings that a world filled with images creates, I focus my questions on the things I care about to reconsider my relationship with images and every kind of complex and subtle connection between art practice and digital media. With this I attempt to develop a few possibilities using the imitative capacity of digital techniques, reconfiguring reality with a fictional world and creating a new universe just like a divine creator. On a certain level, I return to the role of a painter. Using digital techniques, I reconstruct, combine and piece together images of real people on an invented platform. Wandering through real and imaginary spaces, I present a scene both familiar and unfamiliar to the viewer. You are just like a traveler on a journey, opening up part of your memory. The role people play is that of themselves, there is no dialog, just waiting for a possibility in this invented space. As for the rest, the work speaks for itself.
