Springtime at the Lin Family Garden in Wufeng This work was an award-winning special selection in the second Taiwan Governor-General’s Office Art Exhibition in 1939. It faithfully represents the beautiful Lin Family Garden in Wufeng, teeming with blooming flowers of many varieties. The brick walls and the stone slabs on the ground are distinguished through the use of thick and thin textures. It encompasses multiple qualities in a single composition without compromising its integrity, as simple as it is elegant. (Feng Sheng-Hsuan)
