I would like to explore how geometric and organic shapes may be presented in art. To do so, I arrange the structural elements of painting, such as lines, color fields, volumes and space varyingly. I also give particular attention to the hue, temperature, value, and chroma of colors. As a result, my subject matters can look compressed or expanded depending on different artworks. I not only seek a pure, succinct and silent kind of visual power, but also hope to express my inner feelings for life. Color Lines - 07 is a six-piece painting. Its washed pinkish background shows subtle color changes, and its geometric lines of different colors and lengths reminds one of minimalist art. Together they result in this bright and rhythmic piece.
