While walking down the road, we became little characters in a painting. Before we reach our destination, we cross paths and look upon the countless similar faces of people in the city. The significance of the word running in the title is non-stop operation, indefinite form, endless regeneration of life, no fixed position, and a state of continuing movement. This isn't only a portrayal of youth, but also a reaction to my own life, and returning to the painting, it is also a presentation of the specific qualities of the medium. This work portrays young people on the street taken out of their original environment. They are located in the same time and place. They are still continuing to walk, but no one knows from where or where they are going. They are continuing their behavior on the city streets while creating an interesting picture. I encourage viewers to use their subconscious experience of the city when looking at this picture. Because of this, the figures are depicted for the most part realistically, and they are in dynamic postures which gives the painting a feeling of continuation.
