“Home” by Ariel Moscovici Ariel Moscovici graduated from the Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-arts de Paris. His work “Home” is made from marble and is divided into three layers. The exterior of the work makes people think of the Roman coliseum, but the one-piece design that resembles a multi-story house still gives off the feeling of “home”. The work combines smooth surfaces with rough textures to externalize the inner spirit of the marble. The sculpting language of Ariel Moscovici rebels against the traditional “decorativeness” and expresses its ideas using modern “expressiveness”. Thus, Ariel has created a touching experience for the senses by meticulously choosing the materials and techniques used in his work as well as combining his life experiences into the work and externalizing it on the sculpture.
