Standing Tall I take a humanistic approach to discuss social issues in his works. With this painting, the artist reveals the close relationship between land and people in a somewhat alarming tone. This picture shows the dilemma between land development and ecological conservation. It is a kind of rhetoric and a response. A variety of techniques are applied and the spatial composition is complicated. Geometric, organic and concrete elements, light and shades, color fields, interwoven details and repetitive symbols are brought together for a painting symphony.
