A Good Deed Every Day shows two boy scouts – midget twins – carrying a stretcher to help an injured obese lady, with all three of them looking at the viewer with heartwarming smiles on their faces. This all seemed like a plausible scenario but careful observation gives doubt to the twin’s ability in lifting the lady. We can also further question whether if their smiles are actually sincere or just simply political plot devices hiding behind the Boy Scout image of innocence and justice. Is this merely the publicity image that is intentionally shown to the general public? (Wu Tien-chang)
