My work explores a nuanced sense of sensibility as well as an awkward feeling of ambiguity which one feels when faced with the vastness of an object or an event. It is filled with berserk fantasies which have erupted in a burst of feeling and desire. My works often include allegorical images. However, the endless proliferation of meaning has often led to the viewers feeling a great sense of fragmentation and discontinuity throughout the viewing process. Even though it appears exuberant and boisterous, the work gives us a deep sense of alienation. By repetitively rearranging and analyzing the visual contents, I try to explore and visualize my relationship with the society i.e. an individual trapped in the matrix of an indefinable captivity.
